Casey was for several years a much loved resident of The Cat Clinic. In November 2005, her health started to rapidly decline. Dr. Miller did bloodwork and cytology and discovered that Casey had developed bone-marrow cancer. Rather than allow her to suffer through the final stages of an increasingly painful and wasting disease, on November 11, 2005, we said our goodbyes, and, with all of Casey's Clinic friends nearby, Dr. Miller helped her go to sleep one last time.
